Before You Submit
Submission Eligibility
A few ground rules that apply to every abstract submitted to NIMACON 2026.
- Abstract submission is open exclusively to registered delegates of NIMACON 2026 — please complete registration before submitting.
- Delegates may submit multiple abstracts; however, each presenter is limited to one Oral and one Poster presentation, subject to approval by the Scientific Committee.
- Presentation certificates are issued only to the presenting author of an accepted abstract, not to co-authors.
- The presenting author must be registered and present at the conference to deliver the presentation in person.
- Abstracts must describe original, unpublished work that is not currently under review elsewhere.

Presentation Categories
Two ways to share your research at NIMACON 2026.
Oral Presentation
Oral presentations offer a focused slot to present your research directly to an audience of peers, followed by a moderated Q&A session — a format suited to delegates ready to discuss and defend their findings in open discussion.
Format Requirements
10–15 minute presentation plus a 5-minute Q&A; slides in PowerPoint or PDF; delivered during the relevant parallel track session.
Evaluation Criteria
Judged by the Scientific Committee on originality, methodology, clarity of presentation, and quality of response to questions.
Poster Presentation
Poster presentations let you display your research visually throughout the conference, with a dedicated poster-walk session where judges and delegates can engage directly with your work.
Format Requirements
A1 size poster (recommended); displayed for the full duration of the conference; presenting author must be present during the poster-walk session.
Evaluation Criteria
Judged by the Scientific Committee on visual clarity, scientific content, and the presenter’s ability to explain their work during the poster walk.
Formatting Requirements
Abstract Guidelines
Follow this checklist closely — abstracts that don't conform may be returned for correction.
- The abstract must include the full name(s), designation(s), and institutional affiliation(s) of all author(s), along with the contact number(s) and email ID of the presenting author.
- Structured format, in this order: Title, Authors, Affiliation, Objectives, Methodology, Results, and Conclusion.
- Word limit: 300–500 words.
- Title: centred, bold, ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, font size 14, Times New Roman.
- Authors: centred, bold, font size 12, Times New Roman, listed directly below the title.
- Affiliation and contact details, including the contact number and email address of the presenting author.
- The Corresponding Author and Presenting Author must be clearly and specifically indicated.
- Body text font: 12, Times New Roman.
- Include 5–10 keywords, avoiding repetition of words already used in the title.

All abstracts are subject to review and approval by the NIMACON 2026 Scientific Committee, led by the Faculty of Ayurveda, IMS-BHU. Submission does not guarantee acceptance — only abstracts meeting the formatting and quality guidelines above will be selected for presentation.
