Together with the Department of Dravya Guna, Faculty of Ayurved, IMS, BHU as the collaborating academic department, NIMACON 2026 brings together the finest institutional stewardship of Ayurvedic sciences in the country.
Set within the timeless spiritual city of Kashi — the eternal seat of learning — and held at the historic SHATABDI KRISHI PREKSHAGRIHA, INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE, B. H. U. Institutional Stewardship
The institutions coming together to steward NIMACON 2026.
Theme Philosophy
India today stands at the frontline of a silent epidemic. Lifestyle disorders — diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndromes and psychosomatic conditions — are surging at rates unprecedented in our medical history. Modern medicine has responded with pharmaceutical precision, yet the burden continues to mount.
The wisdom of Ayurveda offers something distinct: a preventive, holistic, constitutional approach. It treats not merely the disease but the whole person — Dosha, Dhatu, Manas. It emphasises Āhāra (diet), Vihāra (lifestyle) and Rasāyana (rejuvenation) as core interventions.
The integration imperative is clear. Neither system alone is sufficient for 21st-century healthcare. The theme of NIMACON 2026 — Lifestyle Disorders: An Integrated Approach of Ayurveda for Prevention and Cure in the Present Scenario — is not a slogan. It is a strategic commitment to build evidence, share protocols, and confront the growing burden of lifestyle disorders through the combined strength of classical knowledge and clinical rigour.

It meets science — the disciplined methodologies of hypothesis, evidence, peer review and clinical trial that anchor modern medicine in verifiable truth.
TOMORROW
And it points forward — to a healthier tomorrow, one where integrative, preventive, patient-centred healthcare is available to every Indian family.
